Architecture & the Russian Avant-Garde



Russian architect Kazimir Malevich thought that suprematism, an art movement focused on fundamental geometric forms, could transform the world. This film by Michael Craig and Copernicus Films is part of a larger documentary film about architecture and Russian avant-garde art. Using computer-generated graphic representation, it demonstrates how Malevich's black square came to influence the development of modern architecture.
